Garlic bread has always been the staple partner of pasta. Whether it’s Bolognese, Pesto or Carbonara, garlic bread and pasta have always been a match made in Italy. And you can’t fight with us on this, because it’s not only delicious but also simple and quick to make.
All you need is to gather up your garlic, butter, and cheese. Make sure you got a lot of garlic ready (to shoo away the vampires with your garlic breath) to complement the cheese and soft buttery goodness. Have it on its own, with soup or pasta, paired with your favourite wine.
You’ll surely give in to the savoury and crunchy first bite. The extra soft touch of the parmesan gives it that extra saltiness, with the strong garlicky flavour (the more garlic the better, trust us). This recipe so quick and easy that you can even do this if you’re craving it at midnight.
- 1. Preheat oven to 200°C and line a large baking sheet with foil. In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic, salt, and parsley until well combined.
- 2. Spread cut sides of bread liberally with garlic butter. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
- 3. Bake for 10 minutes until bread is toasty and golden at the edges.
